How do I get to Norwell?

From Route 3 look for...

next exit.jpg (31001 bytes) You're practically here!

If you're coming from the North, take a left off the ramp at Exit 13 to go to the Center and North end of town; take a right to go go the south end of town.

For Norwell Center, take a left off the ramp, then right on Route 123.  The sign below is in front of Jacobs Pond as you enter Norwell there.

Or, continue on Route 53 north, briefly through Hanover, and you'll arrive shortly in  the west end of town, with plenty of retail stores, restaurants, and other businesses.

Enterpond.jpg (38112 bytes) Norwell can be reached from

Exit 12 (Pembroke Marshfield at Route 139, if you're coming up from the South on Route 3:      go right off the ramp, onto Route 139 West for about a mile, then right on Rt 53 south, bear right at the first gentle right (immediate), then right again on Broadway at the Hanover 4 corners.

Exit 13, shown above, and

Exit 14  (Rockland Nantasket exit, take Rt 228 east (left off ramp at Home Depot) to Queen Anne's corner, where Norwell and Hingham share a corner at Route 53)  Taking a Right at that light puts you on Washington Street, Route 53, and will eventually take you down to exit 13 of Route 3 again.

Route 123 gets you into Norwell Center, and then on into Scituate (going straight) or head down Bridge Street, and over the North River to Marshfield.  Route 53 gets you to a major retail stretch, and other points of interest, including more of Hanover to the south, and Hingham to the north, at the junction of 53 and 228..
