Two textured crosswalks have been installed in Norwell Center. These crosswalks:
- Look like brick, blending in with the Cushing Center, Central Fire Station
and Scituate Federal Savings Bank.
- Are durable - they should last easily as long as until the State re-paves
Rt 123 in the Center (and which they will replace, on their nickel)
- Will allow snow plows to pass over (very important for our highway
department)
- Should calm traffic in the Center to keep it a pedestrian safe and
pedestrian friendly place.
