What To Do?
In terms of stunning, vacation-esque spots and
fun things to do, Norwell does not disappoint.
Located on the beautiful South Shore of
Massachusetts, Norwell offers the woodlands
and wildlife of a landlocked community, but
with beaches and coastline right at your
fingertips.
Norwell is home to the Norris Nature
Reservation and the North River, among other
walking trails, paths, fields, and parks.
If you're an ocean lover, the Atlantic is 5-10
minutes away, offering superb beaches,
boating, and fishing.
Here, you'll never run out of things to do.
Fishing on the South Shore
One of the most popular
Norwell pastimes is Striper
fishing. Whether you're
chasing these game fish in a
fully rigged vessel, or just
casting from a local bridge,
everyone has a chance at
landing the big one.

Circuit Street and Pleasant

Located at the corner of Dover and
West Streets, just off Norwell
Center, is a popular destination for
walkers, providing a beautiful trail
to the North River, a pond for
fishing, streams, and even an old
mill stone to picnic at.
Located at the end of Stetson Shrine Lane
(off River Street, near x-way bridge), and
also accessible from the end of Shrine
Road, offers walking trails, North River
views, and is less traveled than Norris'
Reservation. See snowshoeing, below.

Snowshoeing
A Local Gem:
Here's a rarely used trail that goes into miles of great skiing
and snowshoeing in Norwell's own Stetson Meadows,
accessible from the end of Stetson Shrine Lane and from the
end of Shrine Road.
Of course, any of the trails can be used for snowshoeing,
provided that there's snow on the ground, of course. We may
just be partial to this one.
